AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) - Auburn University Theatre continues their season with a presentation of "The Theory of Relativity", a magical chamber musical, in the Telfair Peet Black Box Theatre.
The musical is directed by Jeri Dickey with musical direction by James Mablin. "The Theory of Relativity" opens Oct. 17 and runs through Oct. 26.
"The Theory of Relativity" reminds us of the connective tissue that links us together through a moving collection of songs, scenes and monologues. It is made up of personal narratives of a group of young actors and speaks to the shared experience of what it means to be human.
The production's design team is made up entirely of students as part of their senior projects.
The artistic team for “The Theory of Relativity” includes direction by Jeri Dickey and music direction by James Mablin. The Auburn University student designers include costume design by Bonnie Crawford, scenic design by Inji Ha and lighting design by Devin Stevens. The cast includes Ashleigh Avallone, Jonathon Dickey, Ashley Digiovanni, Emma Fox, Emily Gant, Holden Mathison, Brady McNeil, Luke Sexton, Jenna Viana, Cassie Vitale and Olivia Zeagler.
Faculty, staff and students receive special promotions to all performances at the Telfair Peet Theatre. Tickets are available on the department's ticketing page.
