AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) - When you make a purchase at the C-stores on campus this week, you can help students experiencing food insecurity.
SGA and Beat Bama Food Drive are hosting the Donate a Dollar campaign on campus from Nov. 11-15. Students, faculty and staff are encourages to donate a dollar with any purchase.
The donations will benefit Feed the Family Fund and count toward the Beat Bama Food Drive. Feed the Family Fund is a meal assistance program that helps students experiencing chronic food insecurity. The need-based program provides students with meal swipes to combat reduced food intake and quality due to a lack of financial resources.
Every dollar counts as two pounds of food for the Beat Bama Food Drive. Donations can be made with TigerCard or other forms of accepted payment.
