Auburn, Ala. (EETV)- Ada Ruth Huntley is a third-year Global Studies major running for Student Government President. Huntley’s on-campus involvement experiences include titles such as being the SGA President Pro-Tempore, a Social Sorority Chapter President, a Project Manager with Tiger Dining, a Camp War Eagle Camp Counselor, and a Student Recruiter.
Huntley Feels her experience in these positions has given her a well-rounded view of Auburn University furthering her love of the Auburn Family. This led Huntley to make the slogan of her campaign “Make It Happen”.
If elected Huntley hopes to work towards the implementation of initiatives such as the creation of a foreign language exchange program, building a strong partnership between SGA and other student organizations, hosting a hunger awareness week, and many more.
“This campaign is all about the Auburn family. It is about recognizing that every member of the Auburn family brings something amazing and special to the table. It is about meeting these individual members where they are and taking the time to understand where they come from. It is about doing everything we can to make an already good Auburn experience a great one.”
