Auburn, Ala. (EETV)- Michael Thomas is currently a third-year student majoring in Finance running for Student Government Treasurer. Thomas’s on-campus involvement includes positions such as a Student Assistant for the Office of the Board of Directors, a member of the College of Business Executive Society, a Student Government Cabinet member, a Freshman Senator for the Budget and Finance Committee, a Treasurer for Lambda Sigma.
Thomas says his interest in this position comes from his desire to serve and love for Auburn University. Thomas’s initiatives work to do this through his emphasis on financial transparency with his platform “Trust in Thomas”.
“I love Auburn with a passion, and because of that, nothing will get in the way of me seeking out the betterment of Auburn with students’ interests in mind.”
