AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) - Salsarita's fans can rejoice. The beloved Mexican grill chain is planning to open a new location in Auburn.
The restaurant will be located at a new development at 1192 South College Street, near Starbucks and TownePlace Suites. That building will be owned by The Shopping Center Group.

The building has not yet been built but the chain expects it to be ready by October. After that, the restaurant could open by the end of the year or early 2021, according to Montgomery restaurant owner Ken Desai.
Salsarita's previously had a location open on campus, in Foy Dining Hall. That location closed in 2018.
