AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) - A circle of poles and colorful string adorned the greenspace this week as part of Black Student Union's "Unity Project."
The annual event has students use yarn to connect their unique identies, laid out on the surrounding poles. Each yarn starts and ends at the center pole, which is labeled "I am a part of the Auburn Family."
BSU Director of Outreach Trinity Thomas said the event gave students a chance to connect with their identities."It's basically to show us to have an appreciation for eachother. Yes, we do have differences but there's a lot of things we have in common, too."
