AUBURN, AL (EETV) – For the first time ever College Gameday made their way down to the loneliest village on the plains for the top-20 matchup between Auburn and Kentucky.
Fans were outside the arena as early as 3:30 a.m. in anticipation for the event and it did not disappoint.
Rece Davis, Jay Bilas, Seth Greenberg and LaPhonso Ellis were the hosts of the show and brought out head coach Bruce Pearl for a short segment.
“When I came to Auburn I made a promise to get College Gameday here.” Pearl said.
Promise fulfilled.
The first 2,100 fans who scanned into College Gameday with a valid ignited card received a wristband which guarantees priority entrance from 3:00-3:30 p.m.
