AUBURN, Ala (EETV) – The Opelika Police department has reported responding to a call on Tuesday, Feb. 18 of someone impersonating a police officer.
The victim was a lone female teenager driving on Old Opelika Road. The teen pulled over after a white truck with a flashing amber light got behind her.
The suspect, a white male in his mid to late forties sexually groped the victim before she was allowed to leave.
The man was described to be wearing a black uniform without patches on the sleeves. He was also said to be carrying a badge saying Opelika Police Department.
