AUBURN, Ala. (EETV)- The Opelika Police Department with the help of the State Bureau of Investigation has released a sketch of the suspect in the police impersonator case.
The incident occurred on Feb. 18 when police responded to a call of someone impersonating a police officer on Old Opelika Road. The victim, a teenage girl, was pulled over by a white truck with a flashing amber light. The suspect claimed to be Opelika Police, sexually groping the victim before allowing her to leave. The victim provided a description of the suspect describing him as a white male in his mid-late forties. He is approximately 5"10"-6"0" tall weighing 160 pounds. He is said to talk out of the side of his mouth, with a gold tooth on the bottom left side. The victim described him as having patchy facial hair.
