AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) - Auburn employees will work remotely, if their job allows it, beginning Monday, March 16. Chief Operating Officer Ron Burgess wrote in an email to faculty and staff that they should begin working remotely no later than close of business on Monday.
Determinations regarding assigned work locations for employees (remote or job site) will be made by supervisors based on the employee’s assigned job responsibilities and the need to maintain full university operations. Supervisors are being told to communicate with employees in their departments regarding remote work.
The Sunday evening announcement comes days after Auburn announced classes will be online for students until April 10.
