Auburn, AL (EETV)- Freshman Issac Okoro has entered his name into the 2020 NBA Draft according to Bruce Pearl in Friday's teleconference with the media. Okoro was projected by ESPN as the third pick in the draft behind Georgia's Anthony Edwards and James Wiesman of Memphis.
Okoro has not hired an agent which gives him the chance to return to Auburn after his evaluation. Okoro averaged 12.9 points per game with four rebounds and two assists.
His best preformance came against Vanderbilt when he scored 23 points to lead the Tigers to an 83-79 victory. One of his biggest contributions this was a last second shot to avoid an upset on the road against South Alabama in November.
The NBA Draft will take place June 25th in the Barclays Center in New York City, NY with coverage on ESPN.
