AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) - A tornado watch has been issued for areas of central Alabama today March 31 until 3 p.m. The counties under watch include Lee Country as severe weather is expected in the area throughout the day.
The following Alabama counties have also been put under watch: Barbour, Bullock, Chambers, Elmore, Lee, Lowndes, Macon, Montgomery, Pike, Russell, Tallapoosa, Baldwin, Bulter, Clarke, Conecuh, Covington, Crenshaw, Escambia, Mobile, Monroe, Washington, Wilcox, Coffee, Dale, Geneva, Henry, and Houston.
Residents are encouraged to pay close attention to their radios and TVs for updates.
