Auburn, AL (EETV)- The AU Medical Clinic released their weekly update on the amount of COVID-19 cases for the previous week. The amount of cases for the week of December 6th was 24. This puts the total for the semester at 1,523.
The total amount of cases for Lee County is 8,298. There are 5,098 probable cases and 3,236 confirmed cases. The total amount of deaths is currently at 71 with 54 confirmed and 17 probable.
There have been 27,323 total hospitializations in the state. In the last two weeks, 2,750 people have tested with 732 of those tests coming back as positive.
