AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) - The SEC announced the 2021 football schedules Wednesday and Head Coach Bryan Harsin will kick off his first season at Auburn Sept. 4 as Auburn hosts Akron in Jordan Hare Stadium.
The Tigers will begin the season will four non-conference games and end the season with eight straight SEC games.
After the home kick-off against Akron, Auburn will have another home game against Alabama State.
The Tigers then play their first road game at Penn State on Sept. 18. Auburn closes out non-conference play in Jordan-Hare Sept. 25 when they welcome Georgia State to the Plains.
Auburn will kick off SEC play under Harsin at LSU on Oct. 2.
The Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry is set for Oct. 9 in Auburn. Following that Auburn will travel to Arkansas on Oct. 16.
The Tigers have an open date on Oct. 23 and will return to action Oct. 30 when they host Ole Miss.
Auburn then travels to Texas A&M for their first matchup in Nov. The Tigers then return home against Mississippi State on Nov. 13.
Auburn wraps up their season with a game at South Carolina on Nov. 20 and the Iron Bowl on the Plains on Nov. 27.
