Auburn, Ala. (EETV) - The cities of Auburn and Opelika have teamed up with the East Alabama Medical Center to provide a new community vaccination center. This undertaking was made possible by assistance from the Lee County Emergency Management Agency, whose efforts fueled this project to completion in less than two weeks.
Located at 1716 Opelika Road, this larger building will be able to administer 1000 vaccines in a single day. This new center will be a step in providing vaccines much quicker, ensuring that the community of Auburn will go back to normal faster.
