AUBURN, Ala. (EETV)- It was announced last week that The Auburn University Honors College will be featured in the award-winning, short-form PBS documentary series, "Viewpoint with Dennis Quaid” with their episode set to air this month. This innovative series explores the latest topics impacting the world through educational and inspiring stories.
"We are extremely proud to have been selected for this honor and welcome the opportunity to showcase the accomplishments of our students, faculty, and staff," said Wade Berry, Honors College communications specialist. "Selection for the series also provides a unique moment to celebrate educational excellence at Auburn University and in the state of Alabama."
Following months of interviewing, scripting, filming, and editing, the Honors College can now announce the documentary will air this month. PBS will alert the Honors College approximately 24 to 48 hours prior to airing. Follow the Honors College on social media, @auburnhonors, for up-to-the-minute information and an announcement when the documentary premieres.
