AUBURN, Ala. (EETV)- Today is the day! The Magnolia Chick-fil-a has officially reopened after two years, inside the new 320 West Mag apartment complex.
The occasion was marked with a ribbon-cutting ceremony with Auburn Mayor Ron Anders as well as special grand opening merchandise and free goodies.
Many people were skeptical when it was first announced that the extremely popular restaurant would be moved inside an apartment complex but the transition seems to have gone smoothly, with a few added benefits. The location still features a drive-thru option, which is accessed from Thomas Street or Toomer's Drive and runs through the parking garage behind the complex.
The restaurant is still accessible from the street and now features a special mobile order window outside between the entrances of the restaurant and complex.
