Auburn, Ala. (EETV) - The first week of school is upon the students of Auburn once again, and coming back to school after a long online break can be difficult. Things like writing essays, drafting resumes, creating PowerPoints, writing lab reports, and other academic tasks can seem monumental.
Auburn's University Writing is hosting an Open House this Friday, August 20th, from 1:00pm to 4:00pm to answer questions about how they can help and to give out free swag and snacks! It will be held in the RBD Library on the second floor, near the Miller Writing Center.
There are a lot of ways that University Writing can help you hone your skills, and not only writing skills. The Miller Writing Center can help with any task, including ePortfolios, lab reports, essays, and more. There are multiple workshops that will be taking place this semester to guide you on building hard skills and soft skills, like how to write professional emails and overcoming writer's block. There's something for everyone at University Writing, and going to the Open House is the perfect opportunity to learn more.
