Auburn, Ala. (EETV)- Auburn sophomore Anna Haddock earned Southeastern Conference Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season, when the league office announced it on Monday.
"Anna had a tremendous SEC opener, scoring two great goals and dominating the game in the midfield," Auburn head coach Karen Hoppa said. "We are thrilled to see her recognized again as the Offensive Player of the Week."
The Bowling Green, Kentucky native earned these honors following her brace in Auburn's 3-0 win over Georgia in the weekend. With the two goals, Haddock has now scored seven goals in the eight games so far. That total is the most since 2000 when Tammy Waine scored 12 goals for Auburn in the same span.
Haddock's seven goals on the season is tied for fourth most in the SEC.
Haddock and the Tigers return to action on Thursday against Tennessee at 6 p.m. CST in Knoxville, Tennessee.
