AUBURN, Ala. (EETV)- Senior linebacker Zakoby McClain was named a quarter finalist for the Lott IMPACT Trophy on Wednesday.
The Lott IMPACT Trophy is given to the student-athlete that best exhibits the characteristics of Ronnie Lott by making an impact on and off the field. IMPACT® is an acronym for Integrity, Maturity, Performance, Academics, Community and Tenacity.
McClain will look to join former Auburn teammate Derrick Brown as the only Auburn players to win the award. Brown won the award in 2019.
Semi-Finalists will be chosen in late November and the finalists in December.
There are eight linebackers, six defensive backs and six defensive lineman on the list.
