AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) - A 20-year-old woman is dead after a car crash in Opelika early Tuesday Morning.
The Opelika Police Department responded to a single-vehicle crash on Pepperell Parkway near Lowndes Street at 1:30 am. Upon arrival, officials discovered the female pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle remained on the scene and is cooperating with investigators.
The identity of the victim has not been released to media outlets.
