AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) - For the first time in his career, Senior Conner Pruitt was named the SEC Men’s Diver of the Week for his performance against No. 13 Alabama on Monday in the 152-148 victory for the Tigers.
Pruitt finished the meet with two NCAA Zone qualifying scores after winning the 3-meter competition with a score of 376.43 and placing second in the 1-meter competition with a score of 345.53.
Pruitt is healthy and performing at a top level again after returning from an injury that he missed part of last season with. In his sophomore campaign, Pruitt won silver and finished top six in the three events he competed in during the SEC Championships.
He has surpassed 400 points four times while competing in the 3-meter event and finished first or second in 11 events this year.
This is the first SEC award for Auburn Swim and Dive since 2020 when Allison Maillard won the Women’s Diver of the Week award.
Pruitt and the team will finish the season at Florida on Saturday.
