AUBURN, ALABAMA (EETV)- Junior small forward Devan Cambridge announced that he will be entering the transfer portal via Instagram on Thursday.
The junior averaged 5.3 points per game and 3.6 rebounds per game last season. Cambridge also hit a career low percentage of 3-pointers this past season of 22.1%.
With the new additions of Chance Westry and Tre Donaldson, along with Zep Jasper, KD Johnson and Wendell Green returning next season minutes are dwindling for the guard and small forward position that Cambridge plays.
Cambridge, a rising senior, is the first person to announce his intentions to leave the Auburn program this year. Cambridge was a 3-star prospect out of Hill Crest Prep in Arizona. In his three seasons on the Plains, Cambridge appeared in 91 games and averaged six points per game in 31 total starts.
