AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) - Following two weeks of orientation, Auburn's SGA Senate met for the first regular meeting of the 2022-2023 term.
During the orientation weeks, John David Jones was named Senate President Pro Tempore, and SGA Committees chairs were named and Senators were assigned to each committee. The five SGA committees and their chairs are:
Academic Affairs Committee is headed by Madeline Dodd.
The Budget and Finance Committee is chaired by Nick Seward.
The Code of Laws Committee will be headed by Ashton Dickinson.
The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee chair is Case Rickles.
The Student Affairs Committee will be led by Jabin Justin.
13 legislative bills were also introduced as future orders on February 28. They will be voted on Monday, March 14. The bills were as follows:
