AUBURN, Ala. (EETV)- Eagle Eye's Mikayla Kelly breaks down proposed Amendment 2 to the Alabama State Constitution on the ballot this midterm election.
The second amendment would would allow counties within Alabama to use federal funds within the American Rescue Plan act to act as incentives to recruit high-speed internet to build in their communities.
If a majority votes yes to this proposed amendment, it would become apparent that the state of Alabama would be allowed to grant federal or other state funding to any private or public organization in the interest of high-speed internet.
