AUBURN, Ala. (EETV)- Eagle Eye's Jackson Chambers breaks down proposed Amendments 8 and 9 to the Alabama State Constitution on the ballot this midterm election.
Both proposed Amendments 8 and 9 deal with bringing some privately owned sewage treatment plants under the regulation of The Alabama Public Service Commission for a time, in response to concerns about high fees.
Proposed Amendment 8 would apply only to Shelby Country and proposed Amendment 9 would only apply to the town of Lake View in Tuscaloosa and Jefferson counties. There are not costs to proposed Amendments 8 and 9.
