AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) -SGA Elections 2023: Miss Auburn Candidate: Nylah Bluiett
Bluiett's platform transcript: "Hey y'all and War Eagle! My name is Nylah Bluiett and I am running to be your next Miss auburn. I am so thankful for the opportunity to run for this esteemed position and share my platform with you all this week. My platform, is called “Banking on Bluiett” which is about advocating for a more equitable campus climate that explores ways to make the cost of attendance less expensive for current and incoming Auburn students. My overall goal is to prevent the cost of attendance from being the deciding factor for students’ ability to join or stay in the Auburn Family. My platform is broken into 5 parts that are further explained by the AUBIE acronym:
A- Advocate for more Affordable housing.
U- helping students Understand financial aid.
B- Bring tuition increases to a halt
I- Increasing merit-based scholarships
Finally, E is for promoting student Employment
