AUBURN, ALA. (EETV) – Sunisa Lee was recognized as SEC Co-Gymnast of the Week by the league office for the second time in just a three-week span on Tuesday.
This comes after the Auburn Gymnast won four of the five possible individual titles in a meet with the No. 25 Arkansas Razorbacks on Friday night.
Lee started out with a bang, scoring a career-high 9.95 on vault en route to winning the vault title.
The Minneapolis native took home another two individual titles scoring a 9.975 on bars and earning a 9.975 on her brand-new floor routine. She earned 10s from one judge in each event.
With the addition of her score on beam Lee finished the night with an all-around score of 39.750, which was good enough to win the all-around title.
Lee shares the title with LSU’s Haleigh Bryant. Bryant won the all-around in her performance against Missouri thanks to her perfect 10 on vault.
The No. 5 Tigers host No. 20 North Carolina State Friday, January 27 in Neville Arena. The two teams face off at 7 p.m. CT and streaming will be available on SEC Network+.
