AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) - Auburn University’s Student Government Association will host its semiannual Ring Night Celebration.
As graduation nears, SGA offers a timeless reminder of the Auburn experience: The Official Auburn Class Ring.
The Official Ring is a priceless symbol of students' time at Auburn; from celebrating triumph on Toomers Corner to embracing the meaning behind the 'Auburn Family,' the ring connects past, present, and future Auburn students.
The ring is reserved exclusively for juniors and seniors who have achieved at least 75 credit hours and remain in good standing.
The recipient will tap their ring on the Auburn seal to represent the connection to 168 years of history. Although this means that the ring is temporarily cursed, the ring is then carefully dipped in water from the President's fountain to rinse the curse.
Be on the lookout for SGA's ring fitting and ordering booth in the main lobby of the Melton Student Center on Monday, February 12, and Friday, February 16, from 10 am to 3 pm.
Stay informed about all things 'Ring' by visiting the SGA website and stopping by the table in the Student Center this week for any questions you may have.
