AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) - The Pakistan Student Association is hosting an Eid Milan Luncheon this Wednesday at 1 p.m. The Luncheon will be held at The Melton Student Center in rooms 2222 and 2223. All students are welcome to join and participate in the event.
Eid ul-Fitr is a significant holiday that takes place following Ramadan, and both are of significant religious importance in Islamic Faith. Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic Calendar, and is seen as a month of fasting and prayer for practitioners of islamic faith. Eid ul-Fitr celebrates the end of Ramadan, and thus the breaking of fast.
The Eid Milan Luncheon is welcome to all Auburn students. It is a great time to get to know other students at Auburn University, or to learn more about Eid ul-Fitr.
