AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) –Don’t be scared, give some blood!
The American Red Cross is partnering with the students from the American Pharmacist Association-Academy of Student Pharmacists and the International Pharmaceutical Students' Federation to host the annual Vampire Cup Blood Drive this Wednesday. IBSF organizations have helped collect and donate blood since the seasonal event began all the way back in 2011.
This isn’t just any blood drive; the purpose of this drive is to raise both awareness and the stakes. All APhA-ASP chapters join in to compete in a friendly competition to see which chapter can gain the most support from peers at their respective schools. In return, the volunteers can leave feeling fulfilled, knowing they helped someone truly in need.
The event will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 30 in the Melton Student Center Ballroom from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
