AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) - An exciting opportunity is coming to the Plains for students interested in careers in healthcare, as Healthcare Industry Day is set for Wednesday, Oct. 30. The career fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Alumni Center. Students with an interest in healthcare-related fields are encouraged to attend.
The event will feature more than 20 employers and higher education institutions, including the Alabama Department of Health, Children’s of Alabama, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama, and Auburn’s Harrison School of Pharmacy.
Healthcare Industry Day is part of Auburn’s larger Healthcare Industry Week, taking place Oct. 28 through Nov. 1. The week includes events such as a Healthcare Industry Panel on Monday, a PT and OT Application Review Session on Tuesday, and a Doctor of Physical Therapy Open House on Thursday.
Students are encouraged to dress in business professional or business casual attire, research participating organizations, and bring copies of their resumes. The College of Sciences and Mathematics Career Services can assist students with their resumes, and professional attire is available at the Campus Career Closet.
