AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) – The 2025 Miss Auburn University Scholarship Competition will take place this Friday, Nov. 8 in the Melton Student Center Auditorium at 6 p.m.
The Miss Auburn and Miss Auburn Teen Scholarship is an organization that provides women with an opportunity for leadership within their community. Being founded in 1934, each year the organization hosts a competition that crowns Miss Auburn, a title that is unique and held in high regard among the campus body and the SEC.
Nine contestants are expected to participate in the competition this year. They will compete in the following competitions: opening number, on-stage conversation, talent, health and fitness, red carpet, special performances, and finally the crowning of Miss Auburn.
The winner of Miss Auburn goes on to compete in the Miss Alabama Competition, with the opportunity of competing in the Miss America and Miss Universe pageants as well.
Last year’s winner was Maddy Lindsay, who now attends Washington State University. Her social impact initiative was “Youth Serving Youth: The Importance of Youth Volunteerism” and her talent was a dance performance to ABBA’s “Dancing Queen.”
Tickets for the event can be bought online at aub.ie/missautickets or at the door for $10. The doors to the event will open at 5 p.m. on Friday and the event begins at 6 p.m.
