'Tis the season for Holiday Card Making

AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) - The Alzheimer’s Foundation of America on Campus at Auburn University brings joy to every holiday season with its beloved card-making tradition.

With Thanksgiving and Christmas around the corner, this event is perfect for a holiday celebration. Every holiday season, AFA comes together to make cards for the residents of local assisted living facilities.

At the last Holiday Card Making meeting, AFA and assisted living residents made 34 Halloween cards for Morningside of Auburn and Summer Village Senior Living.

Anyone is welcome to Holiday Card Making as there will be festive music and an opportunity to bond with many people from different backgrounds.

This philanthropy and wellness event will be held on Nov. 14 at 5 p.m. in room 3163 of the Melton Student Center.

These cards can be written to anyone anywhere to brighten their day and put them in the holiday spirit. Join AFA for an evening of joyous celebration and holiday card-making for a good cause.
