AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) — Hailey Bergenthal has been elected treasurer of Auburn University’s Student Government Association after running unopposed in this year’s election.
Her campaign, “Banking on Bergenthal,” focused on financial well-being, investment, and long-term financial planning for Auburn students and alumni. The Auburn junior majoring in law and justice emphasized the importance of responsible financial management within SGA while also advocating for initiatives that promote financial literacy and stability for students as they prepare for life beyond college.
As treasurer, Bergenthal will oversee SGA’s financial operations, making sure that funds are allocated efficiently to benefit the student body.
Her administration is expected to prioritize transparency in budgeting and explore opportunities to enhance financial resources available to students and organizations on campus.
