AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) - The deadline to apply for the Gogue Performing Arts Center's new membership organization, Gouge Center Ambassadors (GCA), is this Friday, Mar. 7, at 5 p.m.
The GCA offers Auburn students the chance to take on leadership roles while supporting the Gogue Performing Arts Center.
Ambassadors act as representatives for the Gogue Center across campus, within the Auburn community, and beyond, assisting as hosts and volunteers for Gogue Center events and performances.
Ambassadors will also facilitate communication and build connections between the Gogue Center, the university’s student body, academic departments, and key groups such as prospective students, alumni, donors, faculty, and administrators.
Members of the GCA will be selected through an online application and interview process where applicants will be evaluated on their academic achievements, leadership potential, personal integrity, dedication to Auburn, and passion for the performing arts. The application also requires submission of a resume and a recommendation letter.
Applicants will be notified if they are selected to move through the interview process via email. After the completion of interviews, applicants will then be informed of the final decision by Spring 2025.
