Denim Day at Auburn University

AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) - In recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM), Auburn University clubs and organizations are collaborating to host Denim Day on Wednesday, April 23, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the campus green space.

While Denim Day is nationally recognized on April 30, Auburn is showing early support by encouraging students, faculty, and staff to wear denim as a symbol of solidarity with survivors and to take a stand against victim-blaming.

The event aims to raise awareness about sexual assault, share important educational resources, and foster a supportive, informed Auburn community. Student and local organizations will host tables with informational materials, ribbon and button making, and possibly food vendors. The first 75 visitors will also receive free Kona Ice.

Whether you're stopping by to learn more, grab a ribbon, or show support, this is a chance to stand together and spark meaningful change on campus.
