AUBURN, Ala. (EETV)- Auburn Police announced that on Monday Derrill Richard “Rick” Ennis was arrested in Pilot, Montgomery County, Virginia, by members of the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force, Virginia State SWAT and Montgomery County Virginia SWAT teams on outstanding grand jury indictments for Capital Murder (Burglary) and Capital Murder (Kidnapping).
The indictments stem from an ongoing investigation by Auburn Police and the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Cold Case Unit into the disappearance of Lori Ann Slesinski in June 2006.
Slesinski was first reported missing in June of 2006 after she hadn’t been heard from in several days, couldn’t be reached by family members and had not reported to work.
