AUBURN, Ala. (EETV) - Three Auburn students are running for public office in their hometowns.
Auburn, AL (EETV)- An Auburn student posted in March on her Snapchat story encouraging students not to get tested by the AU Medical Clinic. The student, who remains anonymous, said in the post, "deal with rona yourself and DO NOT test through the university because all the old people are scared and blaming students for being irresponsible."
The Auburn City Council held a special meeting today in order to address the growing concerns around establishments and patrons not complying with Gov. Ivy’s orders related to the pandemic.
AUBURN, Ala. (EETV)- Southeastern and 1716, two bars located in downtown Auburn, have both announced they will be "voluntarily shutting down" until there is a significant decline in Covid-19 cases.

Auburn, Ala (EETV)- Update: Tuesday at 2:30 pm - The ADPH has confirmed 105,815 cases of COVID-19 in the state. Lee County has 2,861 cases. There are 1,867 confirmed deaths in the state. 863,713 people in the state have been tested and 12,958 people statewide have been hospitalized.
