AUBURN, ALABAMA (EETV) After starting off its 2022 campaign with five consecutive victories in the Tiger Invitational and an additional win on Thursday over Texas Tech, the No. 25 Auburn softball program continued to stake its claim as a premier team in the country on Friday by adding victories over Wisconsin and the No. 9 Texas Longhorns in the St. Pete Clearwater Elite invitational.

AUBURN, ALABAMA (EETV) The 2022 campaign has been yet another year of tough sledding for the Auburn women’s basketball program. The Tigers have suffered from the inability to finish games, inconsistency from the field and have been unable to establish a defensive identity. When first-year head coach Johnnie Harris’ squad traveled to Coumbia, South Carolina on Thursday night, the group struggled with more of the same.

AUBURN, ALABAMA (EETV) For the first time in 2022, Jane B. Moore Field opened its gates to welcome fans for a full weekend of Auburn softball; with all eyes on them, head coach Mickey Dean’s squad delivered a weekend of competition worth watching, winning each of their first four games and posting yet another emphatic victory over UMass Lowell on Sunday afternoon.

AUBURN, ALABAMA (EETV) When first-year head coach Johnnie Harris and the rest of the Auburn Tigers stepped out onto the hardwood on Saturday afternoon, the group was presented with the opportunity to accomplish a feat the program had not seen achieved since the 2018-19 season: winning 5 games in succession. Harris’ squad was up to the challenge, defeating the Grambling State Lady Tigers 82-58 and building upon what is shaping up to be an impressive first year for the new staff.

AUBURN, ALABAMA (EETV) After a 10-day hiatus caused by a COVID-19-iniduced cancellation from the University of New Orleans, first year head coach Johnnie Harris and the rest of the Auburn women’s basketball program returned to game action on Wednesday night when the Tigers travelled to Nashville, Tennessee to take down the Belmont Bruins 71-62.

ATLANTA, GEORGIA (EETV) After the NCAA’s announcement of sanctions against the Auburn basketball program on Friday afternoon, Bruce Pearl’s squad was faced with an unusual challenge when it appeared for the 2021 installment of the Holiday Hoopsgiving showcase at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. Although the squad likely does not wish to push on without its coach for more than the two required games, Saturday’s 99-68 victory over Nebraska served as a testament to the team’s skill.

AUBURN, ALABAMA (EETV) The Auburn women’s basketball team is on a roll. First year head coach Johnnie Harris has lead her team to a 5-3 start — matching the program’s win total from 2020 in just eight games — and are winners of three straight contests. The early season success is due, in large, to exceptional performances from sophomore guard Aicha Coulibaly, the now-reigning SEC player of the week.

AUBURN, ALABAMA (EETV) Following its victory over visiting UCF inside Auburn Arena on Wednesday night, Auburn head coach Bruce Pearl urged Tiger fans to show up early and bring their energy when the program played host to Yale on Saturday afternoon. The orange and blue faithful responded, showing up in numbers and posting the best crowd the arena has seen to this point in the young season and willing their team to an impressive 86-64 victory over the Bulldogs.

AUBURN, ALABAMA (EETV) When the doors opened at Auburn Arena and of the Tiger gymnastics preview meet on Friday night, there was an energy in the air unlike any other level of anticipation many fans had experienced before. There were certainly elements of excitement similar to that of years past; however, this year’s preseason exhibition presented a unique opportunity for gymnastics: the chance to watch an Olympic champion take the floor in an Auburn leotard.

AUBURN, ALABAMA (EETV) The past week has been a bit of a roller coaster for coach Johnnie Harris and the Auburn women’s basketball program. The Tigers pulled off a remarkable upset over No. 18 Georgia Tech on Sunday only to turn around and fall to unranked Little Rock on Wednesday; the squad needed an emphatic win to make the holiday week worth remembering. Friday’s (SCORE) victory over Charleston Southern was just what the doctor ordered.

AUBURN, ALABAMA (EETV) After leading her program to it’s first road victory over a ranked opponent in half a decade, Auburn women’s basketball head coach Johnnie Harris returned to a familiar place to lead the Tigers in the next place of battle: Little Rock, Arkansas. A native of the state, Harris spent time coaching the Trojans. She was even on the bench in Little Rock’s last meeting with Auburn; however, her knowledge of the opposing program was not enough to help her squad walk away with its third consecutive victory, falling to her former program 57-49.

AUBURN, ALABAMA (EETV) Morale within the Auburn fan base this week is as low as it has been to this point in 2021. The Tigers are fresh off a head-scratching loss at the hands of the Mississippi State Bulldogs in which quarterback Bo Nix suffered a broken ankle, kicker Anders Carlson went down with a torn ACL and Bryan Harsin’s squad gave up 40 unanswered points to blow a 28-3 lead in the contest.

AUBURN, ALABAMA (EETV) When coach Johnnie Harris and the rest of the Tigers returned to Auburn Arena on Tuesday night, the squad sought to snap its season-opening 2-game losing streak with a victory over the Hornets of Alabama State; not only were the orange and blue able to do so, the Tigers ended their drought in convincing fashion, defeating their in-state foes 74-45.

AUBURN, ALABAMA (EETV)After an offseason which lasted seemingly forever for fans of the Auburn women’s basketball program, the orange and blue faithful can finally say that the Johnnie Harris era has — officially — commenced. Tiger fans had taken advantage of the opportunity to see their team under new command during Tipoff at Toomers, the intersquad scrimmage and in the preseason scrimmage; Thursday night marked the official turning to the new chapter in Auburn history when coach J’s squad fell to Georgia Southern 68-66.
